Last night I thought about the club engraver last seen during the Mt

Kanigan repeater install ... then I thought about my label maker
also last seen during the Mt Kanigan repeater install ... I can't 
find it anywhere ... I hope it isn't lost as it was quite expensive!!

So much for the set of batteries from the cheap shop in Goldfields Plaza
try again with another set this time from Aldi ... they seem to be working
better ... trying out the alarm again ... for some reason it seems to 
tick like a guiger-counter some of the time ... as long as it works as
an alarm ... on the other hand I know the smoke alarm is still working
I set it off today with smoke from cooking steak in the new skillet!!

Wasn't up to going to radio club today ... I was up from 4am with gastro
problems ... kind of puts a dampener on a day ... quad band radio in the 
car seems to be playing up as well ... checked the SWR for 2M on both
the bonnet and mag mount antennas with my home build analyzer ... good
result for both ... not sure if I should replace the radio with same
or something different!!

Life continues ... I still trying to decide to buy or not the HF radio
from China ... I have put sufficient funds into my account to make
purchase of all I want in one go ... I am very worried about the prospect
of nuclear war starting and causing goods not to be delivered ... not
to mention all the people who would loose their lives needlessly!!

Well I did decide to buy the HF radio and some accessories from China
it should be on it's way ... I went to Sunfest yesterday ... not much
on offer that appealed to me ... only second hand stands this year
no dealer stands ... shame that ... I also put an offer on the tower
from the place across the road ... hope to get members of the radio club
to help me with moving it and installing it ... time will tell!!

Tower down and move went well ... I hope that the raising half goes
just as well ... bowled rubbish today in bowler of the month ... was
much better last Monday for regular league ... guage on the water tank
seems to be broken ... will look again soon as my preliminary look
resulted in attack by wasps and a couple of stings!!

Kenwood TS-520 for this as it is a better transceiver to use for CW ...
I do like the Xiegu X108G for ssb use though!!

Feeling a little down ... the Xiegu X108G has stopped working ... 
behaving as if there is no antenna attached but there is ... this
is the same behaviour it displayed when the dummy load was attached
at the club room ... except it has not corrected itself ... I don't
know what to do!!??

Today is a mum to the eye doctor day ... I also have to pick up cat
food and maybe a carton of drinks for me ... wonder if I should do it 
while mum is in with the doctor or after ... perhaps after then get

The date and time are wrong as there has been a blackout and all
devices restarted ... there is no time update as internet connection
has been lost ... telstra are looking into the problem and have
escelated to level 2 ... seems many other things will have to be 
checked for accuracy as well ... ip adresses, clocks, etc!! I will
be running the friday night net in about 6 minutes!!

Well the date and time are now correct however the connection is very
slow as I have connected up the previous router and it is definately
not as quick ... I do not know if that means it is using a different
means of connection and the connection from the new router is bad
or if it means that the new router itself has had something in it
fried ... only time will tell!!

Not such a good week ... Ron Jarrett died on Wednesday no news yet 
of when the funeral will be ... I am also going to have my horse 
put to sleep tomorrow as she has been having a lot of falls and 
causing much injury to herself!!

Today I went to Redfest at Caboolture, I was most dissapointed as there 
was not a lot of new equipment there with only one actual dealer ... 
I also didn't get to have a proper conversation with Neil due to Tony 
being with him the whole time ... I also pressed a wrong setting on my 
in car transceiver which made the screen and front pannel shutdown st 
least this was simply repaired by disconnect of the 12v line ... Nice 
drive back and was home just on midday!!

somewhat depressed as Shane has arrived at mum's place meaning
I am not good enough to look after her ... probsbly correct as I am

somewhat depressed because of the stupidity of the average Australian

Doctor had added another puffer as my asthma is getting much worse
and sometimes has me very scared if I run out of medication I 
will not survive it ... waiting for the world to explode with
that maniac Trump in charge of America and ScoMo & Co in charge
here there is not going to be a lot of hope if Xi Jinping and
Vladimir Putin team up ... access to medication would be seriously
curtailed ... such is life!!

Very big scare today ... I cooked sausages for lunch and they
became somewhat smokey ... after breathing in some of the smoke
I could not breathe at hardly at all ... I thought it was going 
to be the end of me ... medication was not working ... I am also
considering giving up membership of the local ham radio club as
there is a member who scares me with his white supremesist
rhetoric and homophobia ... it seems very clear that he can't 
follow even the simplest of the rules of society as he never
puts VK at the beginning of any Australian callsign even though
it is required by legislation ... I would not at all be surprised
if he was one that thought and drove at 5 to 10 kph over the speed
limit because the police are unlikley to charge an offence
for such a small amount over the limit ... the correct consideration
should be that the speed limit is there for everyone's safety
and should be obayed for that reason!!

Today was Mums birthday ... many relatives including two of my brothers
came for her birthday ... one of them I thought was the nice one says
I don't do enough to help mum ... even though I am not well and can
hardly take care of myself ... I still do what I can like take her
shopping and to all her medical and eye appointments ... I could not
even get them to help put my antenna back up in the air ... I am 
feeling very depressed ... I don't think anyone knows how this kind
of thing can effect me ... bad enough the crap from the jerk at the
radio club ... I have no energy for even going bowling which is something
I really enjoy when I can do it!!

I do wonder about the inteligence of most of the people on this planet
... there is something really wrong when they put a little bit of money
ahead of the survival of every species on the planet ... there is something
really wrong when they think that there is an invisible sky buddy that

have condemned this planet to the scrap heap and there is nothing that

My breathing is getting worse again ... I woke unable to breathe and
am only after 9 puffs ventolin and 4 puffs atrovent just about able
to do anything other than try to breathe ... I hope some specialist
can figure out how to fix me ... or is this the way I expire!!

My doctor has finaly given me ventolin as nebules ... they work so well
when I am having trouble breathing ... of course he only gave me a script
for the nebules and not another one for puffers so three times I have paid
full price for them now ... still feel so much better being able to breathe!!

Been a while sind I did a diary entry ... I have since put a full website
of my basic thoughts ... another website for start links and to calculate
the share of shopping expenses between Mum and I ... I have not been up
to shopping in person for a long time now as I get way too out of breath
pushing a trolly up and down the isles ... so getting home delivery to
Mum's place for both then splitting it up ... then this diary is linked
from that page now ... had some bad breathing days ... that is just how
it seems to go!!

Multiple attmpts at upgrading windoze 10 to new verson ... if  it doesn't
work this time  I guess it never willl ... still have to re-enable drivers
and startup applcations so that it acts as a web server and ftp server

Another day over ... feeling light headed most of the day ... put a new 
image on the pi-star and got it up and running again ... stil problems
with rf from the Baofeng but listen is fine ... have to figgure if a 
problem with the hat front end or too much rf noise in the cottage ...

breathing respite with only minor problems today ... Baofeng fine again 
found out an Excel dynamic link library required to do user import so 
that now works ... new problem memory limited to 800 entries including
talk groups ... with 2.5K VK DMR users need a method to cull the list
to the most usefull!!

Took mum for her cataract surgery and followup the following  day ... all
seems to have gone well ... just wish she would follow the surgeon's 
instructions ... have to take her for regular physican appointment tomorrow
... lots more trouble with my breathing and my primary nebuliser failed ...
I have made a repair and I hope it lasts ... giving a slight smell of 
wearing rubber!!

On second day of four day prednisone ... it seems to be  helping this time ...
Snowdrop being an away cat ... was late home for dinner last night and didn't
come home for breakfast but is here now and wants lots of pats ... Lightning

as they are having it at the RSL where the dress code forbids the wearing of
hats!!

I tried restarting the hot water service today ... so far so good ... the
place looks much better since Leonie's workers did the big clean up ...
bit expensive but I think it was worth it ... breathing getting worse such
is life ... HF and UHF/VHF beam still offline ... VKDMR and BrandMeister
working fine ... both orange pi's also running fine ... Netflix streaming
keeps me entertained ... cats are still funny and mostly healthy ... all in 
all not so bad!!

I think I am loosing it ... mum's cat took a piss on her computer ... I could
not get it to run again ... so I bought her a new one ... but it was not
a good choice as it was a chromebook not a laptop (with windows) ... so
I bought her another one this time a laptop the same size as her old one
with windows ... but it only gets so far then goes into "just a moment"
for hours and hours on end ... I don't know what it is doing ... I now am 
guessing it must be pulling down all her cloud files ... if it does not finish
overnight I mught just go completely insane ... my health is still bad ...
I am still waiting for my Dr to get a supply of the vaccine ... and we are
all in another three day lockdown thanks to incompetent LNP governments!!

Well ... I have this chromebook set up and am using it for this diary entry
and I have the laptop set up and ready for mum ... all good ... I didn't do
a lot but sit while setting these up so breathing not so bad that way ...

Was a very busy day yesterday with the AZ vaccine in the morning then
the radio club BBQ after that ... was good to see everyone again ...
had some difficulty on returning to the car becomming totally out of
breath ... was so glad to have help carrying things back to my car...
also got to the second BBQ just as they were packing up so got to have
a gab session with them as well ... Zee is such a wonderful person ...
then at 19:20 side effects of the vaccine kicked in with uncontrolable
shaking and feeling as if I was cold when I should not have been ...
also feeling very light headed ... the light headedness continues 
right up to and including now ... wonder how long it will last!!

Ok ... going ok ... breathing not too bad ... did progesterone course
so good now but waiting for the crash ... HF still off air but will
look again soon ... cats still impatient and Snowdrop still bringing
home his kills ... I have the door one way locked so he can't bring
them inside so he has to wait out till I open the door for him ...
this means Lightning also has to wait and he is not patient and scratches
till I let him in!!

Today I named my Vacuum Optimus Prime ... named the Steam Mop Megatron ... 
the three little robots Larry, Curly and Moe ... I think the sleep medication
may actually work but only my sleep log from my smart watch will tell me
for sure ... so much for the Amotivational Syndrome ... first time I have 
been motivated to Steam Mop and Vacuum ... Curly helps with the mopping and
the Larry - Moe pair help with the vacuuming ... yes they do pick up pet hair
and other dusts as their catch trays are quite full at the end of a run!!

Not far to perihelion now ... new year even closer ... I have enough to
make it to the New Year Tradition I used to share with Anne ... I do 
sometimes wonder how she is going ... she rejected me after 10 years so 
I guess I will never know ... other than that mostly ok ... xmas with
family was even stranger than usual ... and of course the Covid-19 thing
I have stocked up with enough noodles to last a month ... not enough milk
for that long though!!

We have now past mum's funeral ... life goes on ... my brothers
although greeving themselves have been very good to me ... looks
like I will be on the move and I signed (docusign) the contract
for the place where I will reside in the future ... I do hope this

I am not progressing far with getting ready to move ... today just
having a shower (sitting down) left me exhausted and needing my
nebuliser to get my breathing back to regular ... how am I going to
do the things I need to do if I can't even have a shower or walk
across a room without ending up in a state of exhaustion and unable
to breathe!!

I have been in the new abode for just over two weeks now ... have
met a few of the other residents here and most seem very nice ...
even playing cards with them (500)_ once a week ... have had a few
breathing attacks which is not so good ... two of which I would call
severe however the nebuliser is set up and does the job of relief
 ... oh and of course there is living in close quarter politics ...
I really hate that ... nonsense from the day I arrived ... over of 
all things ... car parking spaces!!

I did one of my runs back to mum's place today and got another boot
load ... this was at the prompting from Craig who was drunk and
not in a nice mood ... I spent the whole time wailing and crying ...
I just could not stop so I didn't really get much done ... even
when I can do a bit then my health gets me and I have to stop ...
I often wish that I had gone before mum so I didn't have to bear
this anguish!!

Today Dot and Ailsa moved much of the furniture I wanted to come
to my new abode... there is still so much to do at the old 
abode ... Craig or Glen have yet to offer any help with my old
place and seem to only be thinking of mum's home ... will not
get the value for the property unless both residences are up
to scratch ... I agreed to not make a fuss about not getting to
keep my place and Shane was most helpful in getting me into the
new dwelling ... I am so not up to doing much as I just can't 
breathe with the smallest amount of exertion ... just have to
wait and see if they will eventually offer help ... I am not
counting on it!!

I have updated my will and had it witnessed by a JP and a staff
member at my local pharmacy ... The original is stored in my 
document safe and there is also an unsigned copy for verification
purposes ... I don't know if I should send this to Shane or give
it to Glen ... I have seen Glen and shown him which metal items
I would like gathered together near the antenna tower in order
for a scrap metal dealer to just take it all away ... and I am 
happy to say I saw him in my previous abode on the web cam so
he has paid attention to what I said ... thank you Glen!!
I went to the Radio Club general meeting yesterday and that took
a lot out of me ... extreme pain last night and a lot more today
glad that this washing machine does most of the work not like
the one I was using that required lots of intervention ...
could not lock down a date for the antenna bring down as Colin
has had his cancer spread to the lymph nodes ... I hope the 
radiation and kemo treatment work for him as this is not good ... 
had a few breathing attacks one of which was very severe ... I
often wonder which one of them will do me in ... could be tomorrow
or could be years away ... just don't know!!

Feeling OK ... two days after the colonoscopy and endoscopy ... 
very glad that is all over with ... results not too bad but 
have to wait on the results of the biopsies from each ...

Mum's home went onto the market today ... hope we get a good
price for it so all my brothers and I can get enough for ongoing
expenses in our lives ... I am pretty sure I cracked a rib on
Mon Jun 19 as it still hurts even with pain killers twice a day
on top of my morphine in the evening ... breathing has not been
so bad as I don't do a lot more than my morning chores each
day ... although at the end of them I am sometimes needing the
nebuliser ... also walking much less as I have the mobility
scooter inside for charging and drive it right out the door
for things around the village and even into the shops at 
southside ... only use my car for longer distances which are
not really that far as they are still all in the same postcode!!

Looks like my mobility scooter is going to be out of action for
some time ... next available loan unit is not till next Tuesday
... after midday and I have not finished my morning chores ...
my tidy bin and recycling were overflowing so walked to bins
which was just a little too much and sent me into a full blown
COPD attack ... on the nebuliser now so getting under control
... I really hate when that happens!!

Dot visited this morning ... always good chats with her ...
drove round to get my mail as the mobility scooter is still 
out of action ... the indicator lights arrived today so I have
put it on the mobility scooter even if it is not going as I am
sure it will again in the near future ... also picked up mail
from the previous abode ... NRMA letter gave me a little worry
until I logged on to their website and checked the info ... the
letter is wrong ... issude in error ... Telstra still have not
charged me since I closed down the old phone lines ... I paid
them any way according to the contract I signed of $95 per month
... account is still in credit by that ammount ... will soon be
time to pay them again ... I wonder just how many people are
honest enough to pay what they know they owe even if they don't
get an invoice!!

Oh ... took me a bit ... I am the one you knever know might
move in around the corner ... If my window lights are on then
I have taken off my clothes and am naked for the night

this is the first I have had for 17 months ... it was in 
the mail box at my previous abode ... you have to understand
that to me this is a medication ... just one cone in the 
evening ... and then I don't need the morphine ... perhaps

Well what a wonderful last 24 hours or more ... 
think I had some powerful laxative by the number
of hours I have spent on the toilet ... I didn't 
take anything that would do that though ... and it
is not probable as a result of my own cooking as

... wonder what it could have been ... ruined my
appointment with my doctor though ... now I have to
see him next Thursday in person ... I do hope someone

Either I am hallucinating or I saw what I saw ...
and I don't think I am hallucinating ... I know
what that is like and this is not that ... I have
reverted to the old method of killing the emotional 
pain ... shots and greens ... not a much relief as
burning flesh but good enough ... I had a little melt
down earlier ... today would have been mum's 87th
birthday ... first time I have not had to go out
and get a rotisserie chicken - a coleslaw - a 
potato salad and a pasta salad ... so often having
to be just mum and me with a whole lot of leftovers.
She assured me over and over that they had told her
they were comming ... some years they would be there
much better then ... but some years nobody would show
up ... I think she was remembering conversations
from years before thinking it was yesterday ... now
back to what I saw ... Sandra did the drop and swap
at least twice (drop a card to distract and while
is it being picked up swap out for a stacked deck
of the same design) ... with Jenny doing the palm
and charm (secreting the cookie as she brought it
to her mouth then extoling the virtues of what was
just pretend eaten) ... and of course it was Joan
the baked the FOUR INGREDIENT cookies ... ummm ...
butter/sugar/flour/ but what is the fourth ingredient?

scooter ... perhaps I will hear about at least one

full moon last night so will be a blue moon at the

Changed the batterins in the mobility scooter back to the
new ones and waiting for them to fully charge ... did a
complete charge on the old ones before removing them ...

I have the kit built clodk and thermostats up and running
again ... one with external temp and other internal temp
... strangely this makes this place feel more like it is
my home ... have them running from a power supply rather
than a solar panel and battery ... this way I can set the

Not just a clothes wash today ... decided to do a full bedding
wash ... only one blanket fits at a time though ... so it is
taking much time ... and of course only one in the dryer which
is the real time consumption ... blankets take a lot of dying
... also crashed the computer while doing an update to my 
accounts ... thought I was done for ... fortuenately the program
keeps a 4 version backup so only one days transactions lost ...
easy to recover ... glad someone had sence to put in automagic
backups!!

day ... nice on the eyes ... also noted that when I have the air
flow through here I get warnings of bad air quality from the monitor

Well ... I got asked what I would do if I found that someone was

scanner would no longer connect to it ... why anyone would choose a mac
I have no idea ... and Canon printers are no better ... their drivers

but then I thought try canon.com.au and lo and behold the device does
exist and they have not only new drivers but new control software

Glad I do backups of my testbed ... crashed it today ... 6 days after
the last backup ... my mind still has some capacity for memory and
recalled how to fix the five lost days on this the sixth ... took
a whole doy and night to re-type it all in ... but all good now!!
Maya had a date for truth and justice ... if that day falls on a 
wednesday then I will confront the card cheats with all I learned
... how rude to assume that because one knows how to cheat that they
would actually cheat ... then they colude between themselves and all
three of them cheat over and over every time they play ... I wonder
if they all know how obvious their cheating is ... perhaps I should
study them without interaction to see if they cheat eachother the

Well ... wonderful ... the Testbed Pi came back online ... I have no 
idea why ... but I am not complaining ... except that I already ordered
replacement parts for what I thought was wrong ... now I will be able
to build another Pi when it comes as I have everything else I need in
stock ... still working on getting the bottle light back online ... 
seems the control board I ordered is not 1.5V but is 3.7V ... designed
for use with Li-Ion batteries instead of with Ni-Mi ... ooopsa!!
Have ordered overcharge safety strips so I can use Li-Ion without
the chance of a fire!!

This entry from my bedside laptop ... using the nebuliser in here to
make sure that it will work if I need it as a backup ... I needed to
do a neb anyway so why not do both at the same time ... got the test
bed server working as I want now ... as evidenced by this entry as 
it was via onward ... all working well ... doing a course of two days
frusimide for swollen painful feet ... they make it difficult to sleep
as the swelling causes much pain within an hour and a half of going to 
bed ... which wakes one then need to keep feet down for at least half
hour before trying for sleep again ... cycle of this so very chaotic
sleep at the moment ... nothing beyond coping limits!!

Grocery delivery today ... mix up ... two bags of my groceries not there ...
extra three bags of someone else's groceries received ... fortunately the
driver realised his mistake and came back to correct it ... all good and
I got everyting I ordered and all that was not mine taken to the correct
person ... getting ready to cook but had a minor attack ... enough to 
use the nebuliser though ... have needed it a few times recently ... not
as bad as at some times in the past though ... overall life is not too

Shane rang today just to check on how I am doing ... I wanted to cry a
lot of the time I was talking to him ... but I tried not to not sure how
well it worked ... good of him to check on me ... he is also getting older

thinks if he has only had one day off in fourteen ... he agrees with both 
Glen and myself that the offer on mum's home was way too low and it is

Changed the network name on the testbed to testbed ... had to reboot the
router for it to take effect which confused the DDNS ... had to tell it
to flush DNS so it would pick up the new ip ... this beause the new Pi
came today ... I think I will just use the testbed image in it with the
old name to start with then give it a new name ... think I will power it
with one of the a ZTE power supply that came with my phone ... all is 
good with my world at the moment!!

Went on the bus trip today ... there were stairs that we had to go up at
one of the destinations ... it was just a toilet stop in a very nicely
appointed toilet ... however the steps were too much ... I not only
couldn't breathe ... but I was in tears because this is my life now ...
just can't do the simplest things without feeling it may be the last
breath I take ... I did get over it though ... and fortunately the café
where we had lunch also serves alcohol ... a coctail and a shot did me
the world of good ... then another shot and double dose of morphine in 
the evening and I am feeling ok!!

the walk back was rough on me ... tiny distance for most is a
long long way to go for me now ... felt nausiated when I got home
and thought I might have contractid covid ... but test said no

of herbs then did a purchase with delivery of raised beds and potting

Wow ... thanks to good pain relief I got the bathroom mopping done ...
also did a full strip of the bed and wash sheets and two of the blankets

open the door ... I have purchased a number of herbs and am waiting on

Home day today ... washing as usual on a Sunday ... didn't feel hungry
and had thawed chicken yesterday but kept in fridge ... decided that
Lightning could have an extra Solstice treat ... I am not tha hungry
anyway ... depression is strong this time of year ... and I won't get
to see the nice people till next year ... so surounded by some that are
not good people it is just stay out of their way and be alone!̥!̥

They collected my mobility scooter late yesterday ... now just waiting to 
hear when it will be ready for return ... hopefully with no further problems
... post reports having delivered an item but without the mobility scooter
to go round to the club room I am not going to pick it up yet ... hope it is
still there in a few days when I can get it ... don't trust some of those 
that live in this village!̥!̥

Another day goes by ... watched a few at the radio club room on cam ... all
seems fine there ... didn't even open my front blinds today ... what goes
on in the village that I don't know about is none of my business ... this
way I don't know what goes on in front of my villa ... besides which I often
like to stay naked when it is this hot and that is a good reason to keep the
blinds closed ... still have to get dressed to go out the back and water the
herb garden ... no word on the return or problem with the mobility scooter
... which means that my parcel is still round the front at the club room

can't have it keep cutting out ... so I went a bit wild and bought a new
one of much higher design ... double the cost as well ... hope it was a

Just going through and making sure everything is back online ... power
outage ... and I know it went as far as the radio club as I heard echolink
give out it's startup messages after the power came back on here ... I
took the new scooter for a longer ride ... as far as the healthy noodle
... no problem whatsoever except the narrow path section at the school ... 
just go through car park beside the path for that section next time ...
sent Glen an SMS to see if I could have a look at what he has done with

Finaly got a start on finding places to put the content of the green
bags that have been waiting to be done since I first moved in here ...
I knew I would get a start on it one day and it seems now is the time
... will give me a final tally in my head of what was rescued and what
got thrown away that I didn't want thrown ... so far I have replaced
two items that got thrown and I wanted them ... and one other I found
a suitable alternative to purchase ... life continues!̥!̥

Didn't do a lot today ... ride round the block on the old scooter ...
it is fine for the shorter distances ... will see how it goes once
we get back to colder weather again after autumn equinox ... perhaps
it is just an overheating problem ... will use the new one to go to
the physician tomorrow ... back on the morphine tonight as run out of
the better medicine ... saved just enough for summer solstice and no
other dates ... wonder if I will be able to get some more for perihelion!̥!̥

Tried the fish today ... tasty but need to cook it on a lower heat as
it stuck to the pan ... one fillet is pretty good size for a single
serve so good there ... Lightning is getting more demanding about food
even though he gets fed twice a day and has a bowl dry he can eat when
he wants ... and I am still keeping up with cleaning his litter daily
... then he gets pats whenever he asks ... what more can a cat want?̥?̥

Rates notice came today ... I have set it for payment two days before 
the due date ... I like that it can be put on pay specfic day ... this
is the day after a pension is due ... I also decided to do the term 
deposit ... should have done it when I first thought about it ... was
6.0% interest then now I will only get 4.9% interest ... but on $70,000
the interest should be enough to cover my rates each next year ... I 
set it to pay the interest to my account quaterly and revert back to my
savings account at termination ... will decide then about doing another
term ... probably will but I don't like the auto-rollover as if you do
need the funds at some point it will not be available without a penalty!̥!̥

Been a few days since I did an entry ... just forgot ... mostly been listening
to books I have read many times before ... watching TV and sleeping ... Dot

... also ran the updates on the Skype PC ... can't even get at most of the 
others due to the amount of junk on the tables and floor ... and people think

Very persistent rain today ... the awning is holding up ok with only two of the
attachment points done ... still want to do three more ... at least one to take
the bend out of the bottom beam ... have had to move the herb gardens a little
because of the constant drip from the new end position of the awnings ... think
one of the tyme plants will not make it ... have a good number of cherry tomato
plants comming up in the seeding and one solento ... will transfer them to the

Had a long sit out in the green area today listening to a book ... pleasent out 
there but gets a little warm at this time of year ... tried transferring two of
the tomato plants to the main bed to see if they thrive ... also noticed that
there are ants in there ... signs of life are good ... be nice if I can get a
few seeds for nicer herbs ... one of the chive plants has not made it and I think
one of the thyme plants isn't going to survive either ... other plants are all 
thriving ... Lightning even sat out in the other chair while I was out there ...
he does seem to like to be near me and is sitting on the arm of the chair here

Went for a long ride on the mobility scooter today to test out the settings on the
dash camera for it ... works ok if you do the correct mode ... video very jumpy

Got the new 4TB hard drive today ... currently copying files over and will use it

Good long sleep ... didn't go to bed till the club room was open ... didn't wake
up till the sun went down ... of course this means the bins are already out on 
the street so had to go out there to get rid of my rubbish ... and Jenny put a chair
at an angle across the path outside her place making it impossible to pass without
hitting it or going onto the grass and getting bogged ... both happened as I tried
to avoid the chair went over the edge onto the grass and stuck there unable to get
back up onto the pavement till after multiple tries ... says sorry then proves

Much rain ... it has bent many of the tomato plants over some with stem
bend ... many more stakes needed to support them ... would it be rude
to ask for more or should I just try to buy some if I can ... think it
might be time for a trip to the planet nursery ... got the steam mop done
today which really was needed ... still some pain but not as bad as the
previous two days ... could be because I have had a good sleep ... I did
dinner for breakfast again ... this time with spiral pasta in a cheese
sauce with Morocan spice in the sauce ... what a wonderful flavour to go
with the chicken, mushroom, onion and garlic for the body of the meal ...

Went out on a limb and purchased an additional planter box as well as
the supplies to use it ... all because I wanted more garden stakes to
prop up the tomato plants that were damaged by the heavy rain ... so
will try to grow chilli and capsicum plants in this one from seed ...
haven't set it up yet or even started on the seeding trays ... have
dried seeds ready though ... got take away for lunch while I was out so

Started early this morning ... before sun up getting all the supplies 
purchased yesterday from my car ... spent the entire day setting up
and preparing a new garden bed ... surprised at how well that mix
bulked up with water ... but it also took a long time to do and needed
to be done in a water tight container ... I used my camping sink ...
as of course the planter box drains exactly as it is designed to do
... will be interesting to see if I can get capsicum and chilli to

the size and amount of toppings has certainly been reduced from what I

have worn off by then ... spending the time today watching docos

Did a simple grocery order today that added up very quickly
... also a garden order which they have ready to pick up so
will have to do that early tomorrow ... fireworks from the
Gympie Show started at 20:00 this evening and are very loud
at this location ... hope the planting bags are in the first
of the orders to arrive from China as there are many plants
that are out growing the seeding trays ... more capsicum than
I will be able to eat ... at least they freeze well when cut
up ... hope there are at least a few chilli among them ...
